I wish you all could be at tonight’s rehearsal. An already funny scene + actors who are willing to experiment and take changes + everyone a little punchy = lots of hilarious outtakes.
“Bingo is a funny past time for a young guy.”
“But not for a young gay guy?”
We are playing with a ‘gasp rehearsal’ tonight, which involves the actors GASPING!! whenever they learn new information within the scene. The gasping makes sure the actors are paying attention and listening, which gives way to bigger, honest (and sometimes funnier) reactions.
There’s also some killer props in this scene. More on those later.
