Theatre B is holding open auditions for “Sweet Nothing: A (Grim) Fairytale” on Dec. 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. at Theatre B. Callbacks, if needed, will be on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
“Sweet Nothing” is a brand new, never-been-performed play by Fargo native playwright Stephanie Timm. Once upon a time in a raped and pillaged land, the story unfolds through three sisters who learn that hope may be their worst enemy. This production will be directed by Kimberly Miller and stage managed by Stacy Harfield.
Please come prepared with a contemporary one minute monologue. Something from a Sarah Ruhl play would work well.
Cast of characters:
Iris: the eldest and the most clever sister
Lily: the middle and the sweetest sister
Violet: the youngest and the prettiest sister
Wolf: missing a paw
Woodsboy: scrawny and silent, communicates only through gestures
